Free back-to-school immunizations and COVID-19 vaccines available at TPS sites
In partnership with MultiCare's Center for Health Equity & Wellness, Tacoma Public Schools invites students and families to participate in free Back to School immunization events. These free immunizations are available for students ages 3 and up and COVID vaccines are available to students, TPS families, and TPS community members ages 3 and up. COVID-19 boosters are available to students, TPS families, and TPS community members age 5 years and up.
Please bring:
- Identification
- Original COVID-19 vaccine card (for dose 2 and/or booster), if you have one
- Student's most current immunization records. These can be out of state and/or foreign records.

Do you need transportation to a vaccination clinic?
- Pierce Transit gives free bus rides to people going to vaccine appointments. Call (253) 581-8000 or visit piercetransit.org.
- Students with limited mobility, including those who use wheelchairs or scooters, can call Around the Sound at 253-858-7088 or visit atstrans.org to arrange a ride.
