Governor Inslee on Masks
I wanted to remind you that on Monday, masks are optional for students and staff.
I encourage you to talk to your child about your expectations for mask-wearing. Please let your child know that others might have a different perspective, and to treat them kindly and respectfully.
In addition to masks being optional starting Monday, the State Department of Health updated other pieces of its COVID-19 guidance. Starting Monday, physical distancing is no longer required at school. There are also some changes related to students who test positive for Covid and students who were exposed to someone who tests positive. Take a look at our school website for details, and please contact us with questions.
TOL Sophomores and Juniors – Interested in Running Start Next Year?
Running Start is a statewide college program for academically qualified high school juniors and seniors to enroll in college courses to fulfill high school graduation requirements and earn college credit.
There are a lot of things to consider before making the decision to do Running Start. Please join us for one of our upcoming Running Start information sessions (March 15th at 6pm or March 22nd at 11am) to learn more about the program and whether or not it might be a good fit! We do ask that any student considering Running Start attend one of these sessions, versus scheduling an individual appointment.
We will be sending out calendar invites shortly, please RSVP if you plan to attend to learn more about this awesome opportunity.
