Back 2 School Supply Giveaway

The RISE Center is hosting a free back-to-school event with school supply giveaways, BBQ, bouncy houses & games.

• When: August 9, 2025 from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
• Where: RISE Center - 2136 MLK Jr Way

Back 2 School Bash

Life Center Church is hosting a free back-to-school event with free backpacks, haircuts, food & more.

• When: August 16, 2025 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
• Where: Life Center Central Campus - 1717 South Union Avenue

Stuff the Bus School Supply Giveaway

Communities in Schools is hosting a free school supply giveaway featuring free food, free haircuts and community resources for students and families! All supplies are limited. 

• When: August 21, 2025 from 3 p.m. - 6 p.m.
• Where: McKinley Building, 3702 E McKinley Ave, Tacoma, WA 98404

Kids Health and Safety Fair

The Tacoma Police Department and City of Tacoma have partnered to provide this free family event. Event includes free resources, giveaways, health screenings, food, entertainment, and more.

• When: August 23, 2025 from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
• Where: Eastside Community Center, 1721 E 56th St, Tacoma, WA 

Back to School Jam 2025

Hosted by churches across the Puget Sound area, this community event will provide free backpacks filled with school supplies to students throughout the region.

• When: Saturday, August 23, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm
• Where: Giaudrone Middle School,  4902 S. Alaska St.

Back 2 School BBQ

Join Lady B & LaShawn McQueen for their annual Back-to-School Celebration!
This fun-filled community event features free school supplies & food, local vendors, raffles, and prizes for all ages.
